Haunted Pendant - Clearsnap Guest Designer

Hi! I'm a Guest Designer for Clearsnap for the next several months and I am beyond thrilled about this amazing opportunity! I created this fun altered pendant for the Clearsnap October Color Inspiration Challenge.

I had a blast using Clearsnap products to color resist canvas and metal. That's right, most of the Clearsnap inks are designed to work on a variety of surfaces, not just paper! I rubbed Colorbox Marmalade Surfacez Ink onto the metal to create this super cool "rusty" effect.

I added a pop of purple to this token using Topaz Izink. I simply dabbed on the ink, spritzed it with water to thin it, and then dried it with a heat gun to set the color.

I'd love to have you stop by the Clearsnap Blog and check out my project. I hope you'll find the time to play along. Link up your newly created projects to the Clearsnap Blog by October 28th for your chance to win the ink pads shown in the photo above!

Thanks for stopping by today!

  2. Great piece! I tried to leave a comment for you over at Clearsnap, but the comments seemed to be off. I really love the trims and texture and that great kind of twirl of metal!
