Whitewashed Pigment Ink Envelopes - Clearsnap

Whitewashed Pigment Ink Floral Envelope by Dana Tatar for Clearsnap

Hi! I'm sharing how to create this whitewashed effect with the NEW ColorBox Pigment Inks by Teresa Collins on the Clearsnap Blog today! In the spirit of the upcoming Columbus Day holiday and new discoveries, the Clearsnap team will be trying new techniques this week. I'd love to have you stop by for the quick and easy tutorial!

If this whitewash effect is not new to you, you’ll be able to see this technique used with some fabulous new colors of ink that just may get you excited about whitewashing again! I don’t always use envelopes when I give cards to friends, so I had an entire stack of kraft envelopes that were in need of a little love. They were the perfect size (A2) for trying a new technique.

I share two more whitewashed envelope designs featuring poinsettias and snowflakes that are perfect for Christmas and Winter card-giving on the Clearsnap blog. Now is a great time to get a jump on holiday crafting.

I’m definitely planning to use this whitewash effect again soon! What would you create with this ink application? Leave me a note in the comments section.
